“Mary Ann” - Adam Richman

Adam Richman
performs in a three-man, pop-punk outfit. Adam and his bandmates arrived this afternoon to play their single “Mary Ann” just before leaving town for Warp Tour. After the band loaded in and set-up their equipment they proceeded with soundcheck. My crew and I were gathered around a computer checking out some on-line video clip when we heard a decent rendition of Phish’s “Stash” being played. Woah! All three of us whipped our necks around to find Adam and his band performing the über-technie, guitar nut song. Wish we had been running the cameras for that. The band worked through a verse and a chorus before stopping. Completely surprised, I ask where the hell that had come from. Adam said he noticed the Phish 1994 can coozie sitting on one of the film equipment shelves. He also said he used to be a head and thought it would be funny to play that for us. It was! So… You may or may not be into Adam’s pop-punk single “Mary Ann” but at least you know he’s heady. I guess. :)
