During his solo tour, Rich Robinson stopped buy to perform a couple cuts from his new album Paper. Rich’s guitar tech was running a bit late so we killed time with a quick, impromptu interview. It was great. Rich described his transition from the Black Crowes to becoming a solo artists and how that change effects his dynamic with record execs. Rich also spoke about his writing process and the, “…rare b-sides of Cristina Aguilera.” When the roadie arrived we reset the room for a performance. Rich played “Oh No” which is featured in the background and b-roll of this interview clip as well as “Answers” which is showed in it’s entirety in Part II.
