Before their gig at Irving Plaza, Granddaddy’s Jason Lytle and Jim Fairchild, met up with me in the leopard-laden, downstairs, lounge to talk about their new album Sumday. The guys discuss how having their own recording studio made the production of the album easier - Even it meant letting their instruments, gear and cables take over the house. Later, Jim explains how the band got involved with director, Matt Burke, and how the band and director work together to create visuals for both their live performances and music videos. Towards the end of the clip, the band opens up about their skateboarding passion.
