This episode kicks off in the band’s practice studio performing The Music Never Stopped and frontman Bob Weir reminds us that, “It’s not a matter of remembering how you used to do it so much as kind of remembering how you used to do it and remembering how you’re going to do it.” This idea is complimented of imagery that makes us remember Jerry Garcia is gone. Bassist Phil Lesh reminds that the meaning has never stopped and how he believes the band’s lyrics are still relevant in today’s current socio-political and economic times.
This video is the second in a series being produced, shot and edited by concert photographer Jay Blakesberg and filmmaker Justin Kreutzmann (son of drummer Bill Kreutzman). This video comes twelve days later from the release of their premiere episode.
