At first, one might think Matt Groening has created a sequel to The Simpons Movie. In this film, Comic Book Store Guy and Mr. Burns trade barbs at Canadian Music Week ‘09 in Toronto, Canada. But it’s not. It’s Bob Lefsetz — a longtime music industry author who pens the weekly, e-mail newletter “Lefsetz Letter” — And next to him? Gene Fucking Simmons.
The two are at odds after Lefsetz positioned his March 12th newsletter as a blasting response to Simmons’s keynote address at Canadian Music Week. Within hours, Simmons responded with a public e-mail. So if that wasn’t enough, CMW got both men to agree to participate, on stage, in an oral cage match. Music-style!
