After a RAQshow at New York City’s Lion’s Den, I was asking bassist, Jay Burwick, about their impending tour. He spoke about working their way through the midwest and then down to Colorado where they would spend five days hitting venues like Vail’s 8150, Sherpa & Yeti’s, Cervantane’s Masterpiece Ballroom and Boulder’s Fox Theater. He said, “You should come out.” So I did and, as it turns out, my friend Will was working in Vail shooting and cutting concerts at 8150. I helped him produce this shoot and later in the year I edited the concert for him. “Beauregard” kicks off the first set of the show.
